Our last Puff Profile featuring Marc Mercado<\/a> was a hit, so we decided to feature his coworker at EarthMed\u2019s Rosemont, IL, recreational marijuana dispensary.  Please allow me to introduce Lisa Rushing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa has been a proud member of the Rosemont dispensary team since 2021. Since her fiance works at the Addison dispensary, she already knew a lot of the EarthMed family before she started her career in marijuana. She appreciates that EarthMed is family owned because it gives the dispensary a family feel since it\u2019s not just another multi-state operator (MSO) focused on big business. \u201cWe are all here for each other. I see the owners weekly, and I consider my coworkers to be my friends,\u201d Lisa said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to finding her niche at EarthMed, Lisa worked as a bartender and server. Unfortunately, due to Lisa\u2019s chronic pain, being on her feet for long hours made working in the food service industry impossible. Plus, she wanted to work with people like her – people passionate about cannabis \u2013 which made EarthMed a natural fit for her.\u00a0 She has enjoyed the perks that come along with being an EarthMed employee. She specifically mentioned when Grassroots brought an arcade van to the parking lot of the dispensary in Rosemont. She was able to enjoy the arcade games and had funh winning prizes by playing the claw game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a medical marijuana patient and a recreational cannabis user, Lisa uses edibles to feel high and topicals, patches, balm, and CBD to fo her chronic pain. When she consumes via inhalation, she is a \u201ccart and concentrates girl.\u201d If she does smoke flower, she prefers to use a vaporizer over combustion. By vaporizing her flower, she can use her vaped weed to make edibles – essentially stretching her flower further by making it dual-purpose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa\u2019s life outside of EarthMed is full of adventures with her fiance and their dogs. They like to go on road trips to forest preserves and visit different states exploring with their fur babies while listening to all kinds of music. Her musical tastes are all over the place and range from \u201cCher to Blink 182 to screamo to Def Leppard to rap.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa\u2019s Favorite Strains<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indica: <\/strong>Bubba Fett by Rythm is the only strain that can knock her out. When she needs to quiet her mind and give her body rest, Bubba Fett is her go-to strain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sativa: <\/strong>Durban Poison by Aeriz is the best strain to get Lisa motivated, up, and moving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hybrid: <\/strong>Lime OG by Cropz is full of Lisa\u2019s favorite terpene Limonene. This strain tastes and smells just like lime and gives Lisa the effects she looks for in a hybrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
